Katseye opened their Wildworld Tour at Dublin's 3Arena on Thursday, marking the group's first arena tour. The show featured four of the band's five members: Daniela Avanzini, Yoonchae Jeung, Lara Raj, and Megan Skiendiel. Sophia Laforteza, who announced a hiatus in August, did not perform.
The tour launch came days after Katseye canceled their appearance at Olivia Rodrigo's Daisy Chain Fields Festival in Irvine, California. Skiendiel had suffered a sprained ankle, prompting the cancellation, but recovered in time for the Dublin concert.
The Dublin setlist opened with "Hootie Frutti" and included tracks from their most recent EP, Wild, released in August, along with earlier singles. The show featured solo dance breaks from members and fan interaction segments.
The band released Wild on Aug. 14 as their first EP without member Manon Bannerman, who also remains on hiatus. During an appearance on The Tonight Show, Avanzini described the new material as marking a shift for the group, with Raj characterizing it as reflecting "maturity. Growing up."
The Wildworld Tour continues with shows in London at the O2 on Sept. 3 and 4, followed by the North American leg beginning Oct. 13 in Miami. The tour includes two nights at Los Angeles' Crypto.com Arena and stops across North America and Europe.
