Raúl Esparza will star in Galileo, a new Broadway musical, with Michael Park (known for Stranger Things and the soap opera As the World Turns) alternating with him in the title role at certain performances. The production, inspired by the life of astronomer and scientist Galileo Galilei, was announced by producers Amanda Lipitz, Henry Tisch and Jordan Roth.

The musical features a book by Danny Strong and an original score by Zoe Sarnak and Michael Weiner. Michael Mayer directs and David Neumann choreographs.

Performances begin at the Shubert Theatre on Tuesday, November 10, with opening night set for Sunday, December 6.
