Travis Kelce, 36, is discussing his July wedding to Taylor Swift in the season 5 premiere of his New Heights podcast with brother Jason Kelce, which debuted on Wednesday. In preview footage released early Wednesday, Jason opened the show by referencing the wedding, and Travis confirmed his married status while displaying his golden wedding band.
Swift and Kelce married at Madison Square Garden on July 3 in a ceremony conducted by comedian Adam Sandler. According to People magazine, Kelce called the wedding a "night out we'll never forget" and said he and Swift were "so thankful for everybody that showed up." Kelce said the couple chose the venue because they wanted "a very intimate and genuine setting without a lot of distractions" and needed "it to be a private feel."
No photos from the wedding, ceremony, or afterparty have been publicly released by either camp. Kelce told the podcast producers that the event "felt like it just happened in the blink of an eye," adding he wished it could have lasted longer.
The brothers also discussed the debut of their shared dog Wendy, a Samoyed, in Kelce's new Tommy Hilfiger campaign that dropped Tuesday. In the advertisement, Kelce was shown meeting sports stars and musicians while walking through New York's Plaza Hotel to a suite where he spends time with the dog.
