Israeli settler violence has displaced more than 2,500 Palestinians from the occupied West Bank this year, according to the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA). Half of those displaced are children, OCHA said in a statement.

Since 2023, more than 6,400 Palestinians across 130 communities in the West Bank have been forced from their homes due to settler violence and access restrictions, OCHA said. The displacement has left 48 Palestinian communities fully emptied since 2023, including a dozen this year alone.

Humanitarian partners have warned that repeated displacement cycles, recurring settler attacks, damage to homes and infrastructure, and restrictions on access to land and essential services are compounding humanitarian needs in the territory, OCHA said.
