Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune appointed Farid Kourtel as minister of industry on Wednesday, replacing Yahia Bachir. The move marked the second ministerial reshuffle in 24 hours.

Fouzia Naâma was named as a delegate minister responsible for local affairs under the interior ministry, according to TSA, a regional news outlet.
