A missile struck an Iranian oil tanker near Kharg Island on Saturday, according to reports in Iranian media. The Student News Network, an Iranian outlet, described the targeted vessel as a "small tanker." No casualties were reported.

Kharg Island is Iran's primary oil export terminal and handled 90 percent of Iran's oil exports before the US war, according to Iranian sources. The semi-official Fars news agency reported that several explosions were heard near the island, though it said their origin was unknown.
